@AngryReptileKeeper The left has worked well on you. The PMRC was a leftist group and the leader was Tipper Gore. Democrat Senator Al Gore's wife. Democrats took the stand in trials saying video games caused violence. Yes Christians protested stuff, but they were on both sides of the political aisle. It was mainly Democrats that were successful in enacting policies that limited speech.

@dinofeather First, they aren't liberals. These are extremely illiberal ideals. 2nd things have always been limited at public schools. Otherwise kids would live there all year and be in the classroom 24/7. Not just in elementary through high school either. Not every public college offers courses on every subject, is that limiting freedom of speech? I couldn't take geology in my community college therefore my freedom of speech was violated. Speakers are also usually limited by what the school teaches. The exception is when a group pays for someone to come speak. That's why this bill makes it clear that tax dollars can't be spent on this stuff and they shouldn't be forced. Going to listen to those speakers is voluntary and this prevents teachers from forcing their class to go to it for a grade. This bill isn't limiting or banning speech, it's just you and Tim don't understand how these institutions work and what this bill is really doing.

Tim, Hitler's book wasn't allowed until very recently. Communism wasn't taught as a good thing either. Your examples are because you dropped out of school and didn't know this stuff. With your Twitter post and this, I think you're not who you're trying to convince people you are. It's not banning anything. It's saying public schools can't teach this. There are lots of things that are offered at private schools that aren't at public schools. You're also basically saying it's fine to teach this to elementary kids because we can logic them out of it. Kids can't logic. Another bad take from Tim.
