Not just that, they are concerned for their children and grandchildren. It's easy to say "just live the van life" when you have no one else you're responsible for. Same as go live off the land. That's my choice and to live it or not should be my children and grandchildren's choice too rather than forced.

liberals MissTrump It's because business is global and a set number of hours makes it easier for other businesses to do business with you. If I purchase your business software and have an issue with it when am I supposed to contact you if you just work whenever? If I'm your supplier you need to know when I'm in the office and when I'm not and vice versa in case there's a problem on my end. Yes it was because there was no electricity or to save electricity by having factories run during daylight hours, however that's not the reason now. Many factories run 24/7 on shift work. The ones that don't run 6 to 4 or earlier, not 9-5. 9-5 is a cushy office job now and I explained why. It's universal not a US thing.

@thegrimsaxon790 Correct. There's even a grid of where we're allowed to live. It's not wherever we want. It's part of the Green New Deal too. The high speed rail will only go to certain places so it's more efficient and that will limit delivery areas and really everything.
