  1. Judging by comments, it seems a lot of people are fairly ignorant of voting laws when it comes to businesses. It's legally required that your employer give you time off to go vote. They don't have to pay you, but they do have to allow you the time away to go do it. You simply inform them when you're going to vote and go back to work afterwards. Just like they have to let you off for jury duty which is also a civic duty.

  2. So you want all the emergency powers to continue because the virus still exists? Declaring something a pandemic is for legal reasons to justify declaring an emergency. Just like you don't declare an emergency from a tornado without it being determined to be a tornado. If you're still afraid, you're free to wear a mask, stay in your house, etc. The threat of restrictions should end for the rest of us, which is all declaring it over does. If you're intention with that comment is something other than wanting it all to continue, you did a poor job conveying that and need to work on how you word things.

  3. The "institutions" are making the calls. That's one thing Biden's presidency has ripped open for all to see. The President isn't really in control and hasn't been for a very long time. The White House constantly correcting him is throwing the curtain open for everyone to see inside.
