@Dog Faced Pony Soldier It hasn't passed yet. It's in resolving differences phase. It passed the House and went to the Senate. The Senate amended it and sent it back to the House for approval. Then it's to Trump's desk who has already said he would not sign it without revisions that address the warrantless searches. The bipartisan group was short one vote to remove it in Congress. Thanks to Clinton, he has line item veto powers so we shall see. Since it was used against him, he's not keen on keeping that in. I voted for Obama because he ran on getting rid of the Patriot act. He didn't of course and instead expanded it. That's why I didn't vote for him the second time. I was never in favor of it and clearly saw the dangers in it.
