@ottonormal3354 Except the first ethics rule in medicine is do no harm. His reasons show he intends harm. As for them being in more danger, that has not been studied and is based on anticedal evidence without taking any factors into account except the base numbers. It could be because culturally they tend to not observe social distancing (see the many times house parties have been broken up throughout the pandemic), they are less likely to go to the doctor due to mistrust, and their economic situation. Edit to add: Then there's the real odd fact that even if you've already had it, they are still insisting you take the vaccine. Studies are showing reinfection to be very rare and having a more severe case than the first time even more rare. They also show that nurses that work in COVID units aren't having a drop in their antibodies. So why are we wasting doses on people who will get no added benefit from the vaccine?
