That was common in the early days of the internet when everything had a comment section. People would discuss what was said and if someone was wrong, there would lots that corrected them. Now everything has to taken from such and such "lens" and other BS.

They moved their headquarters to Florida or are in the process of doing so. Canada has strict hate speech laws and they'd have to enforce those if they stayed.

Part of it is because, similar to China, the Russian government has party members and favorites in places if power within major companies. Meaning the Russian government gets a cut. Not purchasing products from those companies does impact the government. Not what's currently on the shelves, obviously, but any further orders. Destiny doing that is just a virtue signal. It wouldn't matter anyway because without a VPN, and many of them are being shutdown by the government, they can't get online outside of Russia anyway. Russia shutdown access to the outside internet just like China does.

@RobertMorgan You're copying and pasting that everywhere like it's a genius comment. That's just sad.

One verified instance of that doesn't mean every instance is the same. Can you prove those civilians were armed? Plus armed civilians are not trained and are accounted for in the Geneva convention. That's like saying because I own a gun the police can just kill me for being alive. Using your reasoning, every single person in the US is a member of the military and can be targeted by a foreign adversary simply because we have more guns than people. 10,000 guns were handed out. That's no where near the population of Ukraine. The theater he hit did not have any military hardware near it. I've seen people trying to claim because a few military men were with them as guards that made it fine which is ridiculous.

You described Russia. How conveniently everyone seems to forget this is the 4th time they've invaded a neighboring country and are threatening Sweden and Finland right now. Nobody threatened to invade Russia so you're analogy makes zero sense. Ukraine doesn't belong to Russia. Neither does Georgia (who Russia has invaded and is threatening to again), Poland (Russia is constantly threatening), Sweden, Finland, or any former Soviet country. Unfortunately Chechnya does because they managed to invade and take over there. Take a look at what they did to the dissidents there while you're crying for the Russians that have been fighting in Donbas.

How exactly were we doing 2 moves when Russia controlled Ukraine for years and were bribing officials to go against the people? There's a reason Ukraine is corrupt in the first place and it had nothing to do with the US. Anymore than Russia being extremely corrupt does.

Trump would not have invaded. He was against war. He canceled a mission because the chance of casualties was too high. There's a difference in being intentionally unpredictable so your opponents aren't sure of what you're capable of and being pro war and invasions. If you really believe what you said, you weren't paying attention. I don't expect my leaders to act like that unless we're attacked. I certainly don't believe we should invade a country because it wants to trade with other countries or ally with someone we don't like. We'd have invaded Iran a long time ago if that was the case, or invaded and taken over Cuba.

Russia created the corruption that's in Ukraine. They are ground zero for it. So it's fine as long nobody interferes with their corruption, but it's wrong for another group that can benefit from the resources an area has and help get rid of the corruption by setting boundaries, to use the corruption already in place to get influence? Weird take. So you're not against the corruption, just the EU (they were the main player) using the corruption created by the other group. Edit: In order to join NATO or the EU a country must meet certain standards including a low rating of corruption. So by encouraging them to want to join, the corruption would slowly be removed from the system.
