@thedesensitizedsympathizer5307 Nobody is mad because people were assholes. They are mad because they think it's fine for them to be, but nobody that doesn't agree with them can. Those people then gang up and attack the person being an asshole back to them and try to ruin their life. Not because they really did anything wrong, but because they made them mad. I've fought that almost my whole life, regardless of what side politically it comes from. It's bullying plain and simple. What's just as bad, is these same bullies will openly talk about how bad online bullying is. These are the same type of people that bullied a guy to suicide during Gamergate.

@paulhenri210 Anime isn't safe from this. They've started in on it. Amazon has banned some manga and steam is removing anime games from it's platform. They are trying to bully Japan to change the design of anime because of how it draws women and portrays them and because it's too " white" even though most characters are Asian. On an anime subreddit the users revolted against the mods for banning "trap" even though it's canon for anime since it's existence. This isn't just Hollywood. Sony now controls all anime licenses for US distribution.

@SchizoidMan1989 I love Family Guy, but they don't have any room to be calling someone else that when the episodes almost always have an antisemitic joke somewhere. That said, Walt Disney was not those things. Many US companies had ties with Germany before the war. The only airship to dock at the Empire State Building was a German one with members of the SS. Disney wanted his products to be affordable so they could be enjoyed by everyone. He'd be very upset with the state of the company now and would be furious about the parks. People don't understand that without him, there probably wouldn't have been a moon landing or much of a space program. He did a lot more than most know. The biggest mistake of the company was when the family sold it.
