  5.  @Juan-os4hs The Royals can really only exert their power in a time of emergency like a war. Other than that, they’re politically neutral figure heads. Most Canadians and Australians will tell you the Royal family and the UK have zero control over them, but gloss over either can take control in an emergency meaning they really aren’t independent. Just like China is still communist even though they’ve adopted a more capitalist driven economy. At anytime if you step out of line the party can seize everything including your business. Just because they don’t exercise it often, it just being allowed with no recourse makes it still communist.
