  1. Bill Richmond wasn't there as a joke. It was to make sure he was within the rules and that what he was saying was factual. He never made the claim that would have gotten him banned and he didn't avoid a ban by using his second channel to make a statement per YouTube's own ToS. You can "surf on the edge" because that's still not breaking the rules. Either you broke them or you didn't. There's no almost in contract law.

  3. How does believing what you do is your business as long as it doesn't physically harm anyone or violate their rights lead to a welfare state? It's 100% personal responsibility including responsibility for self protection. That amount of personal responsibility would automatically require a small government. You can't envision a place people are responsible for their own choices and it's not the government's responsibility to bail them out.
