  1. This reminds me of the FBI trying to force Apple to put in a backdoor to get around their phone security and Apple responded with FU. If a company like Apple can do that then so can these companies.

  2. That's immediately what I thought of. If a big company like Apple can do that so can others. They went to court to set a precedent for these companies.

  3.  @breakfast7595  No they don't. Apple went to court to protect their phones security. The FBI attempted to force them to and they refused. They made it clear their business relies on how secure their phones are and they weren't going to jeopardize that. The FBI finally got a 3rd party to break the phone and Apple added more encryption to prevent that way from being used again. It's the reason I use their phone.
