@wvanyar1801 WoT was horrible. They changed every character when there was no need to. Women were extremely powerful in the books. It's just like what they've done to Galadriel. She was the most powerful Elf in Middle Earth. She could destroy pretty much anything, but she chose not to be violent. That's what makes her character impressive. Putting her in armor being violent lessens her tremendously. It makes her no better than men and humans.

Don Lemon Elf is from those lands I believe has come out. So him being that isn't an issue really. He arrives in Middle Earth as a slave which is so on the nose it's pathetic. Him being cast is why so many Elves have short hair because they can't ask a black person to have huwhite people hair. They've claimed it's because surely there was an Elven barber, but that makes even less sense in the condensing of the timeline. They'd have the exact same hairstyle for 3000 years?

It's weird that the part claiming racism includes her. She's huwhite. How is pointing out Galadriel wasn't a warrior and that downgrades the character racist? Portraying Galadriel as violent makes her human and Elves aren't human.
