Absolutely. Verbal contracts are legally binding but you’ve got to prove it. Most business calls are recorded for that reason.

@jensonharris3636 In DW Jeremey’s first video, he said they reached out to Crowder about potentially coming to them. His AGENT (according to DW video) said $30 million. DW drafted the offer and sent it to him admitting in the video it was too low. Stop getting hung up on the money that DW admitted they knew was too low for his value. Then DW spent the rest of the video acting like that was more than enough after saying at the start they knew it wasn’t. It’s interesting everyone screams “it was a starting number to negotiate!” So was Steven’s. DW also admitted in the video it was a standard contract they send out to get talks going. It’s a form letter they simply add the name and amounts that they send to anyone. Not only is it standard for DW. It’s a standard contract in the business which he also said. Then later claimed it was “innovative” in the video. I’m seriously curious how Candace seems to know every tiny detail when she wasn’t involved in the negotiations and that’s not something they’d just sit around chatting about to keep possible leaks from happening. Maybe because she’s only repeating what she was told and whoever told her doesn’t know either because it directly conflicts with the video DW first put out. Is Candace lying or Jeremey Boreing? Because it’s two different stories.

@emsnewssupkis6453 He didn’t own the email or subscription list. That’s not how contracts with Blaze are. Several from there, and Steven, said it wasn’t them. The Blaze I think is going to be percentage based on a show like MugClub or a flat rental rate for the services they provided which was the tech and business side.

@oceanbreathessalty9486 They owned the audience technically. They keep all and all contact information for your audience. Especially who’s willing to pay for it. It keeps them from having any idea their value when the contract is up for renegotiation or to field other offers. That’s horrible and makes them have to start almost all over if they leave after the 6 years. Imagine having to completely rebuild almost everything from scratch after that long?

Well since we now know that IS the standard contract like Steven claimed and Jeremey denied, it got interesting. We also know per the contract they can’t put out anything without approval. So they are doing as they are told. Shapiro’s post is cute since Crowder got banned for quoting the CDC. Yes he stays within the rules, but that still doesn’t protect you which is Steven’s entire point. DW pays big tech so much in advertising and dinners, they’ve never really had to deal with it. Twitter is the only one and that’s not a deduction in the contract. They’ve never had to deal with YouTube changing the rules and giving you a strike on past content.
