@redsimonyt North Korea has always wanted to reunify with South Korea as long as they are in charge. They have made it clear that without the US there, they would invade and take it. The US and South Korea are still at war with North Korea. We are only under a ceasefire. The US does not want that ceasefire to end and would welcome a treaty. North Korea won't do that. That's the situation with North Korea. It isn't about China, because China wasn't an issue until recently. The US doesn't need to go to war with North Korea because we already are.

@mikemills326 Capitalism has it's faults, but it's still currently the best system that has lifted more out of poverty. Plus calling it capitalism is what Marx called it. It's just how humans have always traded goods and services. There are different forms, just like there are of every economic system. The US is not a capitalist economy btw. It's a mixed as are the majority of countries. So claiming something is due to capitalism, when no current country has a purely capitalist economy is disingenuous. The cause could just as easily come from that economy has mixed in with capitalism.

@3dmaster205 That's normal for those that leave. I suggest seeing interviews with them. South Korea keeps them isolated for a couple of years at least because they don't know how to make decisions for themselves. They don't even know what their favorite color is because something that simple isn't allowed and is told to them. They become overwhelmed with having too many choices and self responsibility. It takes about 5 or more years for them to get a grip on everything. Some never do. It sounds like his portrayal of them is pretty accurate.

@kicknowledgesmith8608 Why? He'd just hide behind the police protection he pays for while screaming how terrible they are. People can not like someone. I'll remind you he's a celebrity that believes his opinions are important just because of that. Nobody forces him to say what he says or forced him put himself in the limelight every chance he gets.

@k3m0t19 Because only a small percentage of the population is gay, even lower in South Korea, so having a lot of gay people in a story about the general population doesn't make sense. Also are you trying to say the majority of gay people are degenerates like the characters in Squid Games? It doesn't sound like legendary is the homophob. I would think you'd not want them represented by those types of roles. Edit: I also can't take anyone seriously that uses "folk" like that. Folk is a type of music and lore. Are you claiming minorities are fictional or like twangy music?

@iluvyunie "Why is anyone upset" should be a question mark not a period. Same for after "Why are you bothered". Work on your own grammar before you make a point of correcting someone else.

@kicknowledgesmith8608 I already pointed out how you attempting to equate what Daniella Pineda did with being attacked isn't even remotely true. Lebron is giving his opinion about something he doesn't have an interest in it's success. She does. Now she pissed fans off that would have given it a chance and now they won't watch it costing the company she works for money. If there aren't enough viewers because of her stunt, she also cost herself a job. Edit: If I took a beloved family member and replaced them with someone that doesn't look like them or act like them, you'd be upset and complain about it. That's what Netflix is doing to Cowboy Bebop. When fans complained, she attacked them and made fun of them. That's a stupid move and it will cost them.

@kicknowledgesmith8608 Nobody " attacked" Daniella Pineda. They commented that the costume wasn't true to the character. That's a true statement so the truth is an "attack"? Then SHE made a video triggered and attacked the fans, who are the people Netflix needs to get to watch the show. It would have been better allow someone in charge of the show comment on it. If you're trying to sell someone a product, how many people are going to be interested in buying it if you yell at them and make fun of them? Pretty much zero. TV shows, movies, even basketball are products that the owners/ creators need to sell to the audience. The actors/players also need to sell it because their future payments depend on it. Edit: I also don't know why you made the exact same comment multiple times in the same thread to the author of the post. Is this your first time on social media?

@DeadDogInc He only deserves respect if it involves skill in basketball. Other than that, he's a high school graduate that had a 2.8 GPA so hardly anyone to respect for their knowledge or achievements outside playing basketball. He's average intelligence at best so it's ridiculous that his opinion on anything outside of his profession is taken seriously.
