I think that's what the general public is starting to understand. Before everyone was giving excuses that they're just young and stupid or that it was mainly just in certain areas like California or certain demographics. Now that they're being blatant about what they're calling for and it's currently very much in your face, people are shocked and horrified. Especially to see it in schools like Harvard which is where future judges, politicians, and leaders come from. You expect activists to go to schools like UCLA. You don't expect them to be so prevalent at Harvard.

To me it's a failure of their teachers. These "kids" (they're all adults) didn't just suddenly one day start thinking this way. Too many people for too long have let this stuff slide under the belief they'll grow out of it. They didn't understand that they've been taught to be activists and "good citizens of the world" fighting for whatever their teachers tell them is injustice. Now that people see them celebrating a terrorist attack rather than just riots (2020 to me falls under terror because there were targeted attacks), they're finally understanding what this was leading to. They laughed off them calling for revolution and now they understand they're serious and would happily do that here.
