@krzosu Him saying those things and people trying to claim he wasn't pro Russia doesn't compute. He did interviews on RT. No one has ever claimed the Ukrainian government isn't corrupt. The opposite is well known. That many are cheering Russia, who has killed at least 50 journalists and countless political opponents, is mind boggling to me.

He claimed officials were after him before the article. So which is it? People need to decide if they believe what he was saying in previous videos or what's being claimed now. If he was lying before and they weren't after him, what else was he lying about? If that was true, then why are people lying now?

@randomthegreat2329 There are lots of areas in former Soviet countries that are identical. That was just Soviet architecture. So that claim is dubious at best. Any former communist built community will match every other communist built community in most former Soviet countries. It's weird, but it's true. If you weren't aware of that it would be easy to mistake different areas for each other. If you are aware of that, it's easy to lie and claim one area is another area. I'm not saying he was lying about that, but given his fairly incompetence in most things he spoke about, it could easily be mistaken. I'm surprised he was able to talk and film without a Ukrainian that spoke English understanding him and pouncing on him. He's an example of why, as horrible a thing as it was to do, we put people with ties to countries we were at war with in internment camps during WWII.

He was a US citizen. My husband was born in Canada and now has US citizenship which makes him American now.

I know. It's weird.

I thought he left because he didn't like the direction the US was heading. Sounds like it depends on the day as to why he left.

He put out videos talking about how they'd been to house and just missed him before this article. To act like or believe officials weren't aware of him before then when he's done interviews on RT is dishonest at best. You can not like a newspaper, but to out right blame for a death because they wrote an article about someone already claiming to being hunted by the government is wrong on so many levels. Didn't like him, ever. Didn't agree with what he'd recently been doing. If he was arrested, I have no issue because he knowingly and willingly broke the law. That doesn't mean he deserved death. If he'd been found guilty in a court and that was the punishment, that's different. There's no evidence he's dead so I think all of this is premature. I've also heard he had a terminal heart condition which could also be what's happened. Everyone needs to stop jumping to conclusions without evidence.

For what? He's been claiming he was being hunted awhile before this article was written. So how are they responsible?

@aaronlanglois1962 I could say that and lose my phone or not pay my internet bill by mistake. That's not how confirmation works.
