If a comedian makes a joke like that, it's while the audience is still laughing from a previous joke they made on the subject to make sure it's understood to be in that vein. He made no joke before it and it was a serious topic to him. Edit: Would you still justify it if someone said that about a Mosque or Temple after talking about how bad those religions are? The answer is no. Welcome to equality under the rules. Better yet if someone said it about teachers, which according to the Obama administration's review, it's a higher percentage. 3-4% in the Catholic Church, 5-6% in schools are MAPS. Ask the service members that returned from Afghanistan and Iraq how common it is in that religion, but can't say anything bad about that religion.

@johnm4581 Most of them work far more hours than any normal job. The only ones I know that work that much are high ups in a big business because they're never off even when on "vacation" because it's constant calls.
