Now you walk into an office, say you are, spend 15 minutes discussing how you feel, and 30 discussing operations and hormone therapy. It's disgusting.

  4. You're arguing for it? The first part is saying if parents want to do horrible things to their children it's none of the state's business and it shouldn't interfere. Unfortunately if a parent decides to be irresponsible and harm their children the state absolutely needs to say that's wrong. Living in a society comes with a social contract. Don't want to abide by it, face the consequences of your choices.

  7. Yes they do. It's on a state by state basis. It was 16 in mine with a parent present. 18 if no parent. So is getting your ears pierced. A parent must be present under age 17. Edit: Your parents were aware of the law but you weren't. Doesn't make the law not exist.
