  2. You can't post on YouTube without creating an account. Even if you don't your view history helps YouTube curate content that it thinks you like. It also suppresses videos from certain creators or topics to where you only see them if you're subscribed. My understanding is this app removes the tracking and suppression that's based on what you've watched before. Yes your subscriber count does matter or YouTube wouldn't reward scriber numbers.
