Once an image, no matter where it comes from, is in the public eye, it's legal to print it, show it, hang in windows, etc. She can argue that all she likes, it doesn't mean she won or even had a case. It would be illegal if you sold it for profit, but that would be on the company that owned the rights. The guy on the Nirvana album tried that and lost and the more recent case has already been dismissed.
