@ycAuntieLala As was said, that was before the Kinslaying. She took part in the rebellion, but not the Kinslaying. That was the only time her being mentioned as any type of military leader. She wanted to see Middle Earth and rule a kingdom of her own so she followed Fingolfin rather than Feanor, though she didn't swear an oath to either. Feanor crossed swearing to destroy Morgoth, the others crossed simply to make a life in Middle Earth. That's when she went to Dorioth, met Celeborn, and married. Then they traveled and created their kingdom where the powers and abilities she'd learn to master with the help of Melian the Maia kept the woods in spring and protected it with spells. She was arrogant I guess when she denied Feanor 3 strands of hair to make a Silmaril, but she certainly wasn't once she reached Melian or I doubt she would have taken her under her wing and taught her. The answer to Frodo is significant because she realized she could never have the kingdom she desired which is what had kept her in Middle Earth. Realizing her dreams and desires could never be she returned to Valinor understanding that she'd been foolish.

The male Elves aren't shown as strong. They get knocked around by the troll, but she kills it with ease and with a flourish. No one can be as great with a sword as Galadriel even though it lessens her.

@mandolorian9893 Except there's no "Winter Panther" in comics. It would no longer be a Marvel movie. This is the problem. You don't even grasp the basic understanding of using someone else's work and art to do something. You follow it as close as possible. Especially if you're using something that already has a massive audience. Tolkien's work is the most sold book worldwide that's not a religious text. It's translated into 30 different languages. It's beloved the world over as it is. If you want to make something that doesn't follow what he wrote, do what authors have done for 70 years, make something new with his world as inspiration. The Mona Lisa would no longer be the Mona Lisa if it's changed and the same goes for every other art form. There are many, many movies that use a Shakespeare tale as it's base, but never says "based on Taming of the Shrew", but anyone that's read it can tell that story was used. Amazon could have easily done that. Instead they paid 250 million dollars to be able to use Tolkien's work to have access to that audience then didn't follow anything Tolkien wrote. They've completely broken the lore that leads up to the Lord of the Rings.

@ycAuntieLala She wasn't duped. Sauron avoided her because she could see through his disguise. Her, Elrond, and Gil-Galad. Celebrimbor made the Elven rings without Sauron's knowledge. She was prideful, but cared for every living creature so hardly arrogant. You've already been corrected in another comment, that she wasn't arrogant after the Kinslaying and certainly not after it took the Valar coming to Middle Earth to defeat Morgoth, destroying it so much they had to remake it.

That's the critic score. Audience score is 85% for HotD and 39% for RoP.

They don't bother. She's shorter than human men when walking next to and around them in Numenor. So either they are giants or they care that little about what it's supposed to be.

Tolkien's Elves are immortal and should be tall, with long hair, and ethereal looking. He wrote them basically like angels. No Elf should be able to cover their ears and pass as human.

You're welcome to it, but a first episode should grab you. This doesn't. I care absolutely nothing about these people because I have no idea who they are or why they are even here. The writing is terrible. Yes you can blame an actor when they post on their social media that all complaints are racism and to shut up.
