Redemption is between you and God, not you and everyone else. That's what this guy doesn't understand. He thinks if I'm a Christian I owe him redemption when it's not mine to give. Redemption has absolutely nothing to do with the physical world or the inhabitants of it. It's cleansing your soul to show to God that you can change and be a good follower deserving of His grace. He still doesn't understand anything and is still trapped in a material world mindset. Edit: Going to point out the "social responsibility" stuff isn't American and isn't Christian. Your responsibility and only allegiance is to God and His word. America is built on self reliance and creating something from nothing. Christianity is about putting nothing before God and his word. So here he is again putting the physical world ahead of the spiritual. Then again, to use his phrasing in all this, a Christian wouldn't charge people to share their wisdom because it's a gift from God and doesn't belong to them.
