  1. The real problem is it's gotten so bad the government feels comfortable enough to openly tell these companies to do it. That means they're acting as an agent of the government and this a clear 1st amendment violation. The companies are in California or other such states so the lawsuits have to go through the courts there. Then the judges yell 230 and dismiss the case.
