@McMillanScottish A republic is a form of democracy. It's called a representative democracy. I see people say this thinking it's big brained, but it just means you don't know definitions. No all corporations aren't inherently democracies. WTF? Publicly traded companies have boards of directors because they answer to shareholders which are thousands of people, but private companies don't have those which there are many. Even with publicly traded companies the board just hires and fires the CEO and takes concerns to that person. The CEO makes decisions. There's no checks and balances and there's no vote on every decision. So they aren't by definition a democracy, but it's already established you don't understand the definition of democracy. It's more like a King and his nobility. Edit: Also governments aren't corporations. They don't create anything and then sell it to the public. They don't generate wealth.

You have to remember they don't believe there's a responsibility that comes with rights. They believe everything should just be magically provided for them by a government that doesn't generate an income. So to them a worker who has zero risk and zero responsibility to a company should be allowed to decide what's done with it and the person that's taken all the risk and all the responsibility shouldn't have a say.
