@TGPDrunknHick Not necessarily true. Several murderers have never been abused. A lot of the time it's because their frontal lobe doesn't develop like it should making it difficult for them to control their impulses and not be able to develop empathy. My great nephew is like that and was never abused, but his psychological evaluations are he will be a criminal and most likely a grapist. At 10 he's tried to stab a fellow classmate in the neck with a pencil. He was absolutely born that way.

@herrikudo There are at least 20 active serial killers in the US at any given time. Almost everyone will come into contact with one at some point in their lives. Given those facts, it doesn't seem so rare.
