Nobody, or very few, mean legal immigration. That tweet specifically said illegal immigrants. There has always and still is a legal path in. If not I don’t know how my husband got his citizenship in 2020 after getting his green card (legal immigration status) in 2000.

@joeg5414 They’ve ruled repeatedly on it. The court can only rule. It’s up to the Executive branch to enforce those rulings. The state should be charged with violating citizens constitutional rights by the justice department but they won’t do it. This is basic civics and the separation of powers. Congress makes laws, the judiciary rules on the constitutionality of those laws, and the Executive enforces the laws.

They’ve been ruled in lawsuits as entertainment not news. We don’t have licenses for news organizations anyway because it’s a free press. That’s an example of the government controlling the press.

It’s the middle class that takes the hits the worst. The poor have food stamps and welfare which get increases due to inflation. The middle class, which pays most of the taxes, doesn’t automatically get an increase inline with inflation. Inflation isn’t coming either. It’s been here for the last 3 years.

@owenblount7334 They have. Several times. In the last 6 years or so there’s been a gun case every other year. They knocked down NYC weapons ban, Chicago’s, and several others. How about you do a quick search and you’ll find them instead of looking like an idiot in the comments.

@jesterking1 So 3 said you could just be declared one without due process. I only read the consenting opinion which talked about due process in the second section and that privileges can’t be denied without it.
