You’ll see this a lot with people who got their wealth based on who they are rather than what they’ve accomplished. I’m talking about became wealthy because of celebrity and public status. Since that’s what they’re entire worth is based on, they believe it also affords them special privileges. Like free tickets because they view just being there as advertising for what they’re attending. It doesn’t help that a lot, especially smaller venues and brands, will do it for that reason. They then don’t understand why someplace like Madison Square Garden wouldn’t treat them the same way.

Having been around the wealthy pretty much my whole life in one way or another, the people that become wealthy through celebrity are the worst. My father-in-law could sit in the owners box of a professional hockey team whenever he asked if he wanted to. We could get free tickets if we simply asked far enough ahead of time. I could have walked in a lot of businesses and pulled the “do you know who my father-in-law is” card. Not once, except when he attended a game with the owner, did we EVER even think about doing anything like that. I’ve house sat millionaires homes while they traveled just because they liked me and wanted me to enjoy a little luxury. That’s how people that earn and know they’re worth act. Not like Tyson. It’s his own insecurities about his worth that causes this kind of behavior.
