I take issue with these books because they aren't true. Just because a little boy likes to play with dolls or wants to try on mom's clothes doesn't mean they're trans. Those are perfectly normal behaviors little boys have done for centuries. People used to take pictures to show boys when they got older of wearing their mom's heels. It's normal childhood curiosity. For people so against gender norms, they sure want to enforce them on children.
