Why not both? Why do people make everything an either or? Do you think if you vote one way federally you have to vote the other way locally?

No. That's and the economy are the top issues for voters.

He took every state except Minnesota. It was because gangs were on the rise, and the left had been politically violent. Bombings and stuff. Unfortunately, I fear that too many people are commies today for that type of smackdown to happen again. Democrats thought they'd never win again. That's how thoroughly defeated they were.

It did in 2016.

I know! They made a billionaire the underdog. Americans have always loved and identified with an underdog. So stupid on their part.

He can take office. Federal duty overrides any state. His sentence would be commuted to be finished after his term. A state can't prevent a federal officer from performing their sworn duties. Edit: This has happened before, just not at the presidential level. Adams imprisoned a congressman for criticizing his administration. He won his election while imprisoned and took office just in time to vote Jefferson in who pardoned all of those Adams had imprisoned using the Sedition Act. We're repeating past mistakes we swore we'd never do again. That's why Jefferson, until recently, had been held up as one of the greatest founders and Adams not talked about much.

Ilan Omar isn't going anywhere because that area isn't American anymore. Signs aren't even in English. It's a Middle East Muslim enclave, and that's not going to change. Also, as long they're pretty much isolated in numbers to that area, I'm fine with it because they can't ever gain enough power to really affect anything federally. Edit: In the UK, they're strategically spread out and openly talking about taking over and turning it into a Muslim country by seizing control through the levers of power.

I'm sick and tired of bots like you trying to drive up their follower count to sell the account by making stupid posts.

This actually isn't unprecedented. At the presidential level, yes, but it's happened before at the congressional level. Our 2nd President, John Adams, created the Sedition Act. In it he could prosecute anyone that spoke against the President or their administration and he did so. A lot. Among those he prosecuted was Benjamin Franklin's grandson and sitting congressman Lyons. Lyons ran for reelection from prison and won. He rejoined Congress in time to vote Jefferson in because that election was a tie. Jefferson then pardoned them all and set out to establish freedom of speech and freedom of the press as we know it today.

The judge told the jury they didn't need to be unanimous. That 4 could vote for one charge, 4 for another, and that's enough for both charges. He removed the possibility for a hung jury which isn't how a conviction works.
