This is based off a study that was done with babies. They showed them pictures and watched their brain reactions. When they saw someone of the same race there would be far more activity then if it was of someone of a different race. What they fail to tell you is that they responded the most to pictures of the same race and hair color of their....mother. That's right. It had nothing to do with race and was just the baby reacting to what it thought was it's mother. Trying to make it anything else, like these grifters, is ignoring the fact that babies can't see and everything is just big blobs to them. That study has been debunked for years, but it's something they can use. Edit: Another study they like to use is about how people with white sounding names get hired against someone with an ethnic name even when they are less qualified. They fail to state that the conclusion of the study was that it wasn't based on racism. It's based on how easy the name is to pronounce in English because other employees and clients will interact with this person and they need to able to accurately identify them on the phone and in emails.
