小熊维尼 Nope. Contributing selflessly to your country, like in the armed forces, is a choice when you have capitalism vs forced with socialism. That's the difference.

@tchoythao5579 Fewer than usual. Every generalization is wrong, because 100% of people don't agree on anything. That's why when someone makes a generalization, it's understood to be an exaggeration and, in this case, means the buzz isn't as big as for Marvel movies in recent history. Either you don't speak English as a first language or are intentionally being obtuse. Saying the buzz isn't as big can be both factual and an opinion at the same time. I have never had to explain this to another person that grew up in the US.

@iwrotewords510 In my household only The Guardians and Dr. Strange are being looked forward to, and even those with skepticism. Oldest son wants to see Spiderman, but he's the only one. We've watched every previous Marvel movie. We even watched Captain Marvel to give it a fair shake. Sorry, noping right out of Disney and Marvel unless they drastically change direction.

@bigchungus7050 Not if the character is from a country they don't want to acknowledge exists.

@andresanguianozuniga6798 Spawn rocks. You are correct. I hear many people of different races complaining that it's tokenization and real representation is a superhero all to themselves. They can't create anything new because they have no imagination so instead they just reroll the superheroes others created.

@BraddahSpliff Those aren't recent fiction. Pretty sure that's what they mean. Tolkien is about to be destroyed by Amazon too, so screw that.

@halcyon9783 Nope. The US and Canada consistantly ranks #1 in revenue for movies. The only reason it was China in 2020 was because of the virus and cinemas being closed. So 1/4 of the population of China creates more revenue. That's not including the European market. If they want to cater to a lower revenue source, they are welcome to the decline that will come with it. Edit: I'm not sure why you lumped India into it. They hate China more than the US audience so to think they demand the same in entertainment is BS.
