Why would you go after the employee? The company that hired them and kept them are responsible. In any case like this it's the employer that gets sued. If a coworker harasses another employee it's the responsibility of the company to fix the situation. If they don't, they are legally responsible. Neither employee can remove themselves from the situation because they are both at the mercy of their employer. That's why they're responsible.

According to people in the know, this guy is a great lawyer and doesn't take a case he doesn't know he'll win. When you get a law degree and become a top lawyer, then you've earned the right to criticize. I took tort law and you have to include a bunch of stuff in the brief to keep it from being dismissed. The more entities and reasons for it, the more it takes. You have to almost lay out your entire case.

@nerofl89 He doesn't know the evidence behind it so how can any of them make that call? I like him, he's fine for explaining procedures and what stuff means. He was indeed wrong about Vic's case. Ya'll can spin how you want, but according to Rackets, it was a clear cut case, easy even. An excellent case for defamation. It wasn't or it would have gotten through. His record on cases just looking at the filing with zero evidence isn't very good. Then he'll blame the judge, the jury, the prosecutor, the defense lawyer, when he's wrong, but he's never just wrong. If he really was such a great lawyer (hell most of them), they'd still be doing cases. There's a reason a few don't practice anymore. Edit: I've been a member of his channel. He's funny and entertaining, but he's not a great lawyer. That's fine, most aren't. Obama wasn't either and he became President. Some are better at teaching the basics. That's why on the deep stuff in law school, they have practicing lawyers teach that have had and won several cases on the topic.

@Drew Rushing Not on company grounds unless your employer is the government. Most companies have a code of conduct clause in their employee handbook. It can't enforce it off the clock, but it certainly can while on it.

No. She's claiming a hostile work environment and laying out what made it so. I've tried to encourage people to file that complaint with HR and then the labor board over the racial training crap and separating training, calling huwhite people oppressors, etc because that's what it is. That creates a hostile work environment. Feel free to never do it because you think it's weak to demand not being made the scapegoat by your company.

I don't expect this to go to court. Odds are very high that it'll be a settlement. Elijah has admitted to some of it and apologized and they fired him. That's going to pretty much impossible to overcome for the Blaze. "I know he admitted it and we fired him, but she never said anything" I doubt will fly.

@Ray1Sureee You wouldn't say that if you watched his live streams. He's always claimed to be a Christian so how would he suddenly be turning to God? Every time he was on Timcast he'd talk about Christianity and how following that made him a good husband.

The lawyer writes the brief. They're going to put in whatever language will be most effective to the judge they're going before.

That's interesting because Megan Fox knows the lawyer and says differently. Rackets swore Vic wouldn't lose too. I tend to understand the extreme bias of most the men in that group.

How can you possibly know there's no substance? Evidence hasn't been presented yet. If you're a juror would you just read the case explanation and vote guilty or not without any evidence one way or the other?

I guess you never watched the show. Especially near the end. It was...yeah. His 2nd female cohost is the one he was fired over. That "joke" was lifting her shirt and exposing her. Woohoo hilarious! /s

I don't know what the rude joke was so I can't judge whether it was over the line or not. Nor do I know what you mean by offended as you did not claim she filed a complaint or just told him so. If she just told him so, then that's not a problem. People are offended by different things and letting a coworker know that is offensive to you to avoid unpleasantness for both down the road isn't a bad thing. As for this case, I don't know many businesses that allow employees to get shit faced at work so it's not an issue most have to deal with.

It's a slam dunk or that lawyer wouldn't have taken it. He only takes cases he knows he can win. He has a lot of experience and doesn't waste it on frivolous suits.

Elijah says they were never friends. I didn't believe they were given the Murphy incident where he was horrible to her and Elijah went out drinking with him afterwards and didn't have much to say to her about it. I know they didn't really know each other and were teamed up by Blaze. I don't recall Sydney ever saying they were either.
