@mrtreevee5373 So "Gervoh" is your other account it seems. Then use birth control. With everything now available that wasn't 50 years ago, there's no reason for abortions to still be a thing except in extreme cases. It's like still going to the barber to get your teeth worked on. Edit: It's not "forcing" women to do anything other than face the consequences of their own actions just like everything else in life.

@LuciusC It's not legally considered a right and never was. That's always been the fundamental issue with that court case. It spun rights out of thin air with not even a shred of historically legal precedent. One of the foundational purposes of government is to preserve the lives of it's citizens. That puts abortion against the government's interest in following its purpose. The decision admits that. It arbitrarily set limits for no defined reasons and changed the law in EVERY state over night. It was always a power delegated to the state and the people according to the Constitution because it wasn't a power given expressly to the federal government. The court decided to create law, which it can't do according to the Constitution. Everyone knew it would eventually be overturned. It was always just a matter of a good enough argument. You fell for it being told to you it's a right by a political group that just used that rhetoric to gain power. Obama was the first President elected that wasn't pro life. That alone tells you where the majority of the population has always stood on this issue. To get elected by the entire country, you had to be pro life. You were lied to and now you're angry that the lie was exposed. Edit: Most politicians are lawyers so the Democrats are well aware the case would be overturned eventually. Twice they've promised to make it a law day one, and they never have. They knew it was never a right, it was just politically convenient to say it was.

Yeah, sorry. They lost when all the "pro choice" people went full your body my choice during the pandemic. I tried to warn them. Add in that they broke the agreement with the right of safe, legal, and rare by pushing for and creating late term abortion laws and celebrating having them and that's when the real fight started. They had to push everything to the extreme and now they're finding out what happens when people have had enough. I was pro choice, but they lost me when they started celebrating them and acting like having children is a horror no woman should endure. It's disgusting to celebrate the death of an unborn child.

@abbababa2084 Free speech is enshrined explicitly in the Bill of Rights. The Constitution doesn't say anything about abortion and wouldn't. Nobody considered it any type of issue until the late 60s. Even then it wasn't considered a big one. In 1973 only a few states even had any form of legalized. The vast majority it was illegal in. That court decision that came from rights they created from thin air, changed every law in the country over night. Powers not explicitly given to the federal government in the Constitution goes to the state or the people. Abortion isn't explicitly given to the federal government in the Constitution so it's a state issue as it always should have been.

@KazmirRunik That's not what the Constitution says. It's a state issue because the 10th amendment says power not given to the federal government by the Constitution belongs to the state. Jesus. Ya'll need to learn basic Civics.

@TeddyLovesBacon "a woman's right to choose is a fundamental right that should be protected at the federal level". Then the federal government should have made legislation to do that rather than relying on a bad court decision everyone with half a brain knew was bad and would eventually be overturned. They chose not to do that. So you're anger and these idiot protesters anger is directed at the wrong target. Democrats had plenty of opportunities to make it federal law and refused to do so.

@Aladan57 No man is. That's got to be one of the best ones yet. Yes all caps on the internet is really going to do something. You do vote on men's issues. By selecting your representatives and they make laws. Like that a man has no say in what happens to a child that without his sperm wouldn't have been created. A baby isn't a "woman's body" and it isn't about health. Every ban has an exception for if the mother's life is in danger. So that takes care of your "health" concern. You have a bazillion different types of birth control available and the Morning After pill. Abortions are no longer necessary except if it endangers the life of the mother.

@OscyJack- Your 2nd rights argument makes no sense because it already is very restricted in some states and out right banned in some cities. It already IS a state issue even though it's clearly defined as a right in the Constitution. Abortion isn't mentioned in the Constitution at all, yet you're trying to claim it's more of a right than one explicitly given in the Constitution. Your personal opinion has zero effect on what the Constitution says or that it is the supreme law of the land.

@atasteofreality609 The governor of a state doesn't make the laws. The legislature does. They aren't kings of that state.

Jesus so many just blatantly ignorant people and it's truly frightening. Learn basic Civics. Those crying about Christianity being why abortion has been illegal for centuries should know it's still illegal in the vast majority of the world. It's only legal in a handful of countries. Most countries aren't Christian. So why do you think it's illegal? Because one of the roles of government is to preserve and protect citizen's lives.

@Aladan57 Oh. You're just a copy and paste sad little person. No real thought. Just a bot.
