@Blakblooded They can be charged with both. If they could have charged insurrection they would have simply for the optics. That would have been 30 years. You’re a good example of why people who don’t understand the law or how charging someone works should not be posting about it.

@paulhoughton1691 Whether someone knows the law or not has no bearing on if they can be charged. That’s a ridiculous standard. That would require every person to know thousands of laws and memorize thousands more before they enter another state. So if I don’t know it’s legal to spit my gum out on the sidewalk, if I do, I could be charged anyway. That’s insane and everyone would be in jail. Intent only has any bearing in murder or a select federal laws. If you have an intent to murder, it’s a more serious charge than if it’s a crime of passion.

@RevelationOne Do you make fun of every service member that breaks down from PTSD? Are they no longer heroes because they are haunted by what the has to do during combat? It’s very odd you pick a guy that has a mission to help his fellow servicemen suffering from the same thing as Kyle.
