@A Common Man As a POC, I call BS on you that I'm hated on all the time. The only people that have ever "hated" on me were people of other colors. Yes slavery at one time was the norm worldwide, the horror. Also this country was founded with the intention of abolishing it. In fact 1 state immediately outlawed it and 2 others followed close behind, but you don't want to talk about that. Only 9% of the population even participated in slavery, yet you condemn everyone. How do you function being controlled by the past so much? Hating people based only on some wrong you think their ancestors might have possibly maybe been involved with? I guess I should feel that way about black people since they hunted us down and sold our scalps to the government the same as white men. Freed black men took our land just the same as white men. They fought in the wars beside them. Some were even military leaders. I guess you better hate them for owning slaves too since they did, but so did Natives. Yep just everybody hating everybody else for things they weren't alive for sure makes a great place to live. Edit: Y'all must REALLY hate the immigrants from Latin America coming in since they owned millions of more slaves than the US ever did and for longer.

@A Common Man The difference is none of us are screaming about slavery from the past. That's what you can't understand. You'll condemn the US and everyone in it today for something none of them participated in or had anything to do with, while supporting companies and countries that use what you're so upset about right now. It's called being a hypocrite. It means you really don't care about slavery it's self and are only using it to attack people you don't like. So you're really a HUGE hypocrite.

@A Common Man Maybe you can answer this since I've never actually come across someone who want open borders. What will we do with the hundreds of millions that will come? How will we feed them? House them? We'll lose our farmlands to make room for them, we don't have enough jobs for them, we don't have enough resources for them. How will the increase in crime be dealt with? I'm sure since you know this is the right thing to do, I know you've obviously thought long and hard about all these issues and have a solution. Inquiring minds want to know.

@joeswanson7634 I guess if having sex in public is your main metric of freedom I guess so. However the Netherlands doesn't have free speech, isn't allowed to own guns or ammunition (no right to self defense), and your child's name must be approved by a government agency to name a few things. None of that occurs in the US, so sorry, all things being equal we have more freedom. I'd rather have those than the ability to have sex publicly with a prostitute. Honestly if that's what's mainly important to you, I'd say you've got bigger problems.
