@deepg7084 It was a term sheet DW would have been thrilled if he signed and the only one they offered. The term sheet excuse means nothing. It had signature areas where it would have been binding. All that us is framing it in the best possible light. Unfortunately there is no best light for it because they admitted it's what they send to anyone. Meaning a young person not very savvy would see the amount (obviously lower) and the size of DW and just sign it. Then the question becomes would they accept it or not. If yes, they're happily taking advantage. If no because they know it would be, why offer it in the first place. Edit: The merch clause is particularly scummy. It has no end date. That means if you left, they'd own your brand and would take royalties from anything you sold using it. That's where they own you forever.

@thatotherguy8138 Out Johnny Depp how? That he was a drunk and druggie? That's never been a secret. Everything else was a lie according to the courts. So what did she "out" him for?

@wightboy12345 That's not risk sharing. If you get banned off all platforms it costs 110% of the contract. People are still going to be paying to watch behind the paywall and you still have to make the show and incur all costs in making it. In fact getting banned will drive even more people to pay for the paywall content. So DW will still be making millions from your paid subscribers while you have to pay them millions too. The 20% isn't for the remainder of the contract. It's for the entire term of it. That's you taking ALL the risk and them raking in all the money. You can't even try to raise the money some other way because it all already belongs to them.
