Trump remembered too and called him on it.

@JJRM8 That didn't start due to Crimea. It started when Zelensky outlawed the Russian language and created other discriminatory laws. That's when that civil war kicked off. Did Russia back it? Absolutely just like France backed our revolution. There was a lot of tension in Ukrainian around that area since the USSR broke apart. It's because when the USSR took over an area it would move people around to prevent cohesion in any area. So people never knew who they could trust. So every country that used to be part of the USSR have a sizeable population of ethnic Russians. That's who lived in those regions.

It is. He's been making veiled threats about dragging other countries in for the last year at least everytime he's begging for money. He's also said he doesn't have to pay any of it back. That they're not loans. That the countries need to think of them as grants.

He's been threatening for the last couple of years to other world leaders. I don't know how nobody has called him to the carpet before now. He's given veiled threats constantly.

Pretty sure it was the EU trying to secure a lucrative trade deal. Not the US. Do you think only the US has spies and instigators?

@westernbody And Germany. Pretty sure Poland's done and Romania.

8:39 1 person died in Crimea. It was a security guard. Not "people". The only thing I wish Trump had said was ask him why our equipment we sent has been found all over the world and telling him to enjoy his expensive cars are his wife's plastic surgery.

@kabloosh699 NATO exsiting is our acknowledgment of Russia being expansionist. That's why it's a thing. It was never about communism and I don't know where that myth started. It was to prevent the expansion of Russia into Western Europe and keep Germany in line.

Ukraine is losing massive ground on a daily basis. They've almost run out of men. They've lost almost their entire young population to war. You're talking like it's an even playing field. Or like Ukraine has some possibility of winning or driving back Russia. They don't. This is the reality when you lose a war. When the US beat Mexico did we just walk away and say just kidding you can keep it all? No. We mercifully took the bit we wanted and allowed them to continue with what we didn't. This is no different. They can keep going, but there will be no country left because I doubt Putin is as merciful.

There's at least 5 other videos on YouTube covering this. Including a couple of livestreams

Putin hasn't invaded Georgia again. That was solved under Bush Jr. Ukraine was always going to be an issue once they decided to leave Russia's sphere of influence because Russia needs the port and land access to it. Especially now since they've lost their only base outside of Russia in Syria. It's not personal. It's strategic and defensive. Russia doesn't trust Ukraine and Ukraine doesn't trust Russia. Both with reason. To reduce it down to simply Russia bad is a gross misunderstanding of the dynamics at play.
