  1.  @mmiYTB  There's a difference between getting someone fired or canceled for something they said 10 years ago or for singing a song and facing consequences for your current choice of actions. Harvard law students were barred from clerking for federal judges a couple years ago because they shutdown a lecture about free speech. It's because future lawyers that don't value our rights don't need to ever reach high positions. Same is true for these people.

  3.  @Rich_G1  You can't direct them to attack a specific target. Imminent doesn't mean immediately. Death threats are terroristic threatening and are indeed illegal.

  5.  @horusfalcon  There are thousands of colleges. From large, to tiny. You're acting like that all goes to a handful of schools. That's not anywhere near enough to do what you claim. That's like the math people use to claim if you took all the money away from the 1% it would fund healthcare. Yeah for maybe 6 months. The professors salaries, staff salaries, water, energy, maintenance, library (many have climate control areas for rare and old books), food for all the students, supplies for things like science departments, computer programs, etc. Edit: Look at public education budgets for large cities. That number is NOTHING compared to them.

  6. They don't have freedom of speech. Students have been removed, speakers refused, and professors fired for saying the wrong thing from everyone of these schools. They site school policies against "hate speech".

  7. There is a reason the Congresswoman asked about a specific word. I'm not going to type it. That is a direct call to minecraft Jews. You can argue about semantics with the other one, but not that one. That would fall under a death threat.

  9. Correct. Most of them are private universities and they've all happily violated the first amendment for years without repercussion. Now suddenly they're concerned about it?
