@DustMan2704 Yeah it was making fun of elitist white chicks like Paris Hilton. Not an entire race. It also had them as police officers being undercover, not a society that has magical powers to protect black people from yt people. It doesn't even make sense. If they've got magic why would they be afraid of yt people that don't? There is away to make the trope without being racist to point it destroys any comedic value. I was actually kinda looking forward to it thinking it would be a Blazing Saddles or even White Chicks. It's not. There's nothing funny in the trailer. It's a romcom.

@blakasmurf It is being serious. Please point to a single point in the trailer that there was a joke. You can't because there aren't any. It's using references from 2 books about how every yt person is racist and born racist and will always be racist. Academic books.

@blakasmurf Didn't see it. It only made $41.6 million so not a lot of people did. It's making fun of blaxploitation movies from the 70s. I'm not aware that's about yt people. Those films didn't have them in them except maybe 1 in the 70s. That's not the same as taking 2 books, Unpacking the Invisible Knapsack and White Fragility, and putting them into a romcom.

You point to the very few wars you know. Now look at all the wars in the Middle East and Africa. It's been nearly constant. The wars in Asia before WWII. There are currently invasions ongoing in Africa of one group trying to eliminate the other group because they're a different tribe or religion. You are so cocooned that you think a handful of wars in 100 years is horrible when wars were constant before then. I'm Native. My tribe subjugated 40 other tribes. We told them join and pay tribute or die. Which means we removed a few. Were we committing genocide against ourselves? History and all current events of the entire world at your fingertips and you choose to be this ignorant. Edit: I guess during WWII it was yt people invading all the Asian countries.
