@paddymills He doubled his money from investments. Bezos did because governments shutdown retail so you could only buy from a couple of companies. Big difference. If he's a broken clock, we should all buy one. He took a $6,000 investment in his first startup to $300 million. Then he created what became PayPal which sold to Ebay for $1.5 billion. It's that money that he created Tesla and SpaceX. He has 155 IQ, a photographic memory, is a physicist and an engineer. Unlike Bill Gates and Steve Jobs, he actually creates something rather than using other people's ideas and being really good marketers.

I don't think you have to like someone personally to appreciate their impact. That's currently what we're seeing from the extreme left. They have to fit their vision of good or everything they accomplish is removed. His advances with this brain chip will revolutionize medicine and drastically improve the quality of life and lifespan of the disabled. I'm hoping for a mechanical eye eventually that can hook into it so people can have their vision restored. By people, I mean me. I lost a lot of vision from eye disease before 40 because I have Lupus. My blood vessels swelled and leaked damaging the back of my eyes. I'm very excited for those with spinal cord injuries to have their motion restored either way.

@shenloken2 Because all those things have never happened before. I mean ice ages, the black plague, war (you're ignoring this is the most peaceful time in the history of civilization), poverty since the dawn of human existence ( again ignoring it's the lowest in history), starvation also always was a thing only much more widespread when everyone had to forage and hunt for food. Better be glad you weren't born when it was exponentially worse, like when I was.

@TheBroled He's working on better battery technology. So you're pissed because you don't know what he's doing. Sounds about right. His brain chips are going into paraplegics so they get their functions back. He's been contacted on Twitter by people wanting it and is setting them up to be in trials so they can be the first to benefit and not have to pay a cent for anything. He's doing that because he wants to charge rich people to get it once it's ready for market for being able to use the internet with it, rather than patients who need it. He picked up the slack when Obama defunded NASA. He delivers supplies to the international space station for the government. He accomplished what Virgin promised to do ages ago. I don't like how he treats some of his workers, but you trying to punish him for not doing things you want him to reeks of the regressive left. This need to "call out" people needs to stop and makes you part of the problem.

@paddymills If I was in a wheelchair I'd try to be first in line for it. We've had chip implants for awhile in the medical field. This is the next step in it. If he can pass the cost of development to rich people wanting the next big tech thing instead of patients, why is that bad? Do you tell heart patients that need a pacemaker to enjoy their chip? Idiot. Edit to add: I'm blind in my right eye. If his chip could restore my sight, I'd jump at it. People like you only listen to the propaganda and don't realize it's a medical device first.
