@sheeemt399 230 makes platforms like Facebook, Twitter, etc the same as a public street. Freedom of speech is protected there as it is in any public space. That means that those platforms have to protect free speech just like the government. They enjoy certain protections for it, like I can't sue them for content. Comparing them to a job isn't how the law sees it. However, they are acting like a publisher by restricting content. That's against the rules and they should lose those protections if they want to control content.
