@CarrinaCarrillo They most definitely have increased services. Dramatically. Half the things you can get a degree in now didn't exist 30 years ago. There was no internet, you were lucky if you had a pool, the weight room was for athletic programs, food choice was the cafeteria, etc. Now you've got lazy rivers, yoga, and unbelievable services available at just state schools. The amount of services offered are better than most middle class people have access to. You don't think that costs money to build and maintain? Add: My son attended the same college as my oldest brother. My brother went in 1988, my son in 2017. The difference was astounding. It went from a campus that was easily walkable to one that had transportation buses running. The number of degree programs had nearly tripled with state of the art labs for biochemistry and other specialized degree programs. My other brother attended a $20,000 a semester private college in 1989 and the one my son attended put it to shame and it still didn't cost $20,000 like the private one did in 1989. I really want to know what you're basing your reference of before and now on to make the claim that they're the same as they were before.
