That's intended. The less you are able to drive, the fewer the emissions. They want everyone to use public transportation or bikes.

45 minutes for a quick charge? Those are limited by the way. That's 45 minutes that truck isn't moving which means the driver isn't earning anything. As pointed out by the previous post it's still less than they can travel now which means increase in delivery time. Increased delivery time means drivers being dinged pay for taking too long. The longer it takes to get, the longer it takes to get back and pick up another load, he less money they make.

California goes a step further beyond just limiting the sale of them. Older rigs aren't allowed inside the state. Since they automatically follow California I wonder why that wasn't put in as well.

It depends on where in Texas you live. Most of Texas is on it's own power grid. Remember the big winter storm a few years ago that saw Texas's grid fail?

What does that have to do with Pennsylvania trying to force trucking companies to buy all electric trucks? You know, the subject of this video. Is this a bot promoting a supplemental insurance to Medicare patients? If so, not a huge number of that age group on here. Go away.

No. It will push the cost of some goods up, but that's not what inflation is. Inflation measures how much value the dollar has lost due to the government flooding the economy with newly printed currency. Costs didn't really increase by 20%. 20% is how much value the currency lost making it require more to equal the previous amount.

That's not what they're saying. Did you think it would produce no emissions? Zero is the goal now, not just low.

That's normal. It's because the state and surrounding areas get taxes and increased revenue into their economies from people coming to see the games. It's the same reason large manufacturing plants or businesses get huge incentives if they build in an area. More jobs equals more tax revenue and economic growth.

Show me the valid study that says the electricity that an EV consumes that comes from a coal power plant is less emissions than from a 5 year old car. You're making a claim with zero evidence or any explanation on how you reached that conclusion. It's your opinion that that's the case. Edit: You also ignored this video is about 18-wheelers not individual cars.

Going to call bs. Trucks aren't sitting around running nonstop. They load and leave. I live near 4 huge distribution centers. That means trucks coming in and out pretty much 24/7. It's not an issue.
1
Local delivery sure. That's why cross country was mentioned. Just like EVs make sense for city living but not in rural areas the same is true for trucking. Other than weight and roads and bridges not being built to sustain that amount and price nothing was mentioned outside long haul trucking.
1
Yes. If what they call net zero is achieved it will drastically reduce the world's population.

Local government. Go to council meetings when you can. Get friends and family to write, call, and e-mail state representatives and senators. Too many people don't take the time to be involved and that's how this happens. They count on people like you not making the time to do anything about it.

"Pardon hack" what? He's saying sorry or pardoning someone's sentence? Partisan I believe is what you're looking for. He's done several videos on EVs with the claims vs reality as well as green energy and climate. I'm sorry saying our electric grid can't support these forced initiatives is offensive to you. Edit: Also if EVs were better for the majority of people they'd have more than 1% of the market. If something is an improvement it doesn't have to be forced. People switch to it on their own.

They can sign all the treaties they want. Unless it's ratified by the states it's nonbinding.

This isn't about a standard gas CAR. This is about diesel powered large trucks. He has another video about EV cars.
