  1. He is becoming a dictator. It's very frightening what I see happening in Canada. My husband is from there and a lot of his friends have fled or are in the process of doing so.

  2.  @ricardocantoral7672  I didn't have a problem with it because to get a good negotiation for your country, sometimes you should apply economic pressure. It worked out a better trade deal in the end which was the point. There's nothing wrong with leverage. If the pandemic proved anything, it's that we have too few goods produced at home leaving us extremely vulnerable to the whims of other governments. Edit: As for his ego, it takes a certain amount of it to believe you're capable of running one of the most powerful countries in the world. Every President has a massive ego, just others try to hide it. Obama called in all the Republicans and told them he won and they had to do what he wanted. He just didn't do it publicly.

  4. After he showed that clip of Trump, he said everyone likes a strong leader. The US usually has a strong leader, but that doesn't make it a dictatorship. Obama said only he could bring the hope and change so desperately needed in America and Trump said only he can fix it. It's a knock against the people that put their faith in only one person to do the work.
