  1.  @janicep1508  I've got 2 kids in college. There is no entrance exam. Those exams are for advanced degrees. You can choose to take a test to clep some of your courses. I did take an entrance exam because I never took the ACT or SAT. Your ACT/SAT determine your placement. If you know a lot that had to take remedial courses, then your college accepted just about anyone for the government loan money.
