@jimmynaylor1759 There are tons of fantasy books that would fit their vision so much better than Tolkien. Even ones consider high fantasy. The fact they even acknowledge that you can't tell the difference by having the human male lift her hair to check her ears shows they have no idea what they are doing. Most of the Dwarves seem to be the only thing they got mostly right as far as costumes. I'm not sure why the humans look like they should be in the Middle East 2-3000 years ago.

@ElPortaldeTera Hello paid shill. No that's not how it works. THEY are the ones who need to create something new rather than change someone else's life work. That's exactly what Tolkien fans expect and want. This isn't a movie franchise that's updated to keep up with the times. This is a literary work that's considered extremely important to literature worldwide. It's Tolkien's world that he created. If YOU or they don't like it, YOU create your own. The fact that it's the 2nd most read and published work worldwide behind the Bible means that people from every race, ethnicity, and anything else you can come up with already love it as is. There's no need to add anything because it obviously already works as is. Edit: It already is for everyon except bigots like you who lack education and imagination so you try to dumb it down to make it appeal to a tiny minority rather than the majority of the world's population that already enjoy it. Pick one of the hundreds and even thousands of popular fantasy books that already contain the aspects you want. There are plenty available without having to mess with this specific one.
