It's not in Britain where he is from. It also isn't one that's been used since the 1940s. It meant ghost or spy in the 80s and 90s. Just because something 80 years ago was a slur doesn't mean it's one forever. Gay used to mean joyful.

It's slang for tell the gossip you know. Tea=gossip. That's been slang in the US for several years.

Doesn't change all the race crap or bad writing. Usually if someone is going to have that kind of arc it's hinted at with inner dialogue or an aside between that character and another one where the one that's going to have an arc talks about being better or the other one encouraging them. The first episode should be your best foot forward to bring people into the show and make them want to see what possibly could happen next. This doesn't do that. Edit: Luke didn't have an arc in the sequels. He remained bitter until the end. Even his last scenes were him just wanting to die.

It hasn't been that in nearly 80 years. It was regularly used in cartoons and spy films to mean ghost or spy. This idea that context doesn't matter is insane. It's not the n word. It's a word with many different meanings depending on context. Edit: Are we going to rename crackers now too since it can also be a slur depending on context?

Not in the south.

When referring to a spy it means spy. Just like a cracker is something you eat with soup but can also be a slur. It depends on the context.

@fantastopotomus First off there's a big difference between no racism and half the population being racist. Saying that much less than half isn't is not claiming there is none. The US has less than 5% and that includes any race against another. They didn't say you can't be proud of where your ancestors are from. They said nobody else cares. I don't care where you're ancestors are from, though it maybe very important to you. That doesn't involve me in anyway. You either need to retake basic English or get your IQ checked because your reading comprehension is lacking.

Hot tea should be made at specific temperature and the water should be brought to that temperature in a kettle. Unfortunately in the US many use the microwave to heat the water which breaks down some of the molecules in the water and affects the flavor. I've had "sweet tea" or what restaurants call sweet tea and it's horrible. I'm not British either, I'm southern and most restaurants have horrendous tea. Edit: Also the fact you seem to think Earl Grey is the exactly the same no matter what company makes it shows you don't know what you're talking about. I've had several different companies Earl Grey tea and none of them taste the same. They're wildly different. Then again I can also taste the difference in a Better Boy tomato grown in different areas because the soil affects the flavor.

You clearly weren't subbed or hadn't watched any of his other reviews of these kinds of shows. This is how he's made reviews since Wheel of Time.

It also means spy or ghost. Context.

Why are you using past tense like you've seen the entire thing instead of a single episode? You can't have "loved" a series when it's not even a series yet.
