  3. I noticed in the listed review one was "out of the box". A bit of honesty crept in there. I applaud them for saying without saying. Out of the box doesn't belong with Tolkien.

  4. Naa. The Tolkien fandom has been through a lot. We're not so easily shaken. They've been trying the racist mess from the start and it hasn't and won't stop us. Fake fans can be easily spotted. I've already gone after a couple by pointing out things and then watching them change their comments because it's stuff they had no clue about. The professor has given us his words to use as swords against the incoming army of orcs and goblins.

  5. It's already clearly not faithful to Tolkien. I don't need an expert to tell me that. The costumes look horrible. The Dwarves are the only thing that looks correct. I can't tell Elves are Elves at all. I'm sorry, but it doesn't look great. It looks like the flashback that sets them being in Middle Earth looks good, but nothing in Middle Earth outside the Dwarves looks particularly great.
