@BigAlCapwn We have employment protection. They are all getting unemployment from the state along with an added $600 a week from the federal government. We have the family leave act which guarantees your job for up to six months. Most employers have disability which pays you 100% of your usual salary if you are injured and can't work for an extended period of time and also guarantees your job back. The ones wanting to open back up are small business owners. Many got loans from the government that if they follow certain guidelines, they don't have to back and many were also eligible for unemployment benefits. Interesting how y'all bash a country based on your own ignorance of what we do and don't have. You enjoy all our medical research without having to pay for it. What do you think will happen to that if the government takes over all healthcare? We have free clinics, most hospitals have charity, and government funded insurance for the poor and elderly. It's called Medicare and Medicaid. They pay little to nothing for care or medicine. Out of 330 million only around 20 million don't have insurance and the majority are young people because they don't think they need it or just don't want to pay for it. We also have far fewer deaths due to delayed treatments or surgeries than EU countries. It's expensive for us because our research and medical breakthroughs are cheap for you.
