@stevenwilson8718 Then you were one of the 20%. It reduced taxes for 80% of the population. They're still in effect by the way.

@Sh0rtzz_Daily You do know the lockdowns were from your state and local government right? I didn't have any so obviously wasn't federal. It's basic civics understanding which government has what power. You're blaming someone that had absolutely nothing to do with what you're blaming them for. Making something available also isn't a horrible thing. Attempting to force it is, which he didn't do.

@stumblingmumbler You're an idiot if you think that. It had been here since October the following year. I have a friend who's one of the first known cases and that's when he got it. They didn't know it at the time, but he was tested for antibodies as soon as it was available and still is regularly as one of the test subjects for how long they last. The strain that took over was one that developed IN the US. Meaning it had already been here long enough to mutate. If you're going to make claims, at least know what actually happened instead of made up crap. My friend had the original strain which caused 40% lose of his lung usage and months of recovery. That was the really deadly one. That's not what most people got.

@Neelinmact After the riots and cities burning in the summer of love how can you call that "the biggest law and order problem?"
1
@Neelinmact That was caused by states enforcing lockdowns. Trump did not do that. The President doesn't have the power to do that. My state didn't lockdown and has enjoyed a rather robust economy. It's one of the top 10 fastest growing economies. The large economic centers in California and New York forced long, heavy lockdowns which impacted the federal economy.

@Aeeeoi That's not even remotely true. Even when abortion was illegal before Roe, that was always allowed. There is no case ever that that has occurred due to laws. If you mean the case Kamala's campaign was pushing, it was a botched abortion that caused her death. The family set the record straight and asked them to stop talking about her. They are currently suing the hospital AND clinic for malpractice. This idea that malpractice is caused by laws is ridiculous. There's a reason doctors have to have malpractice insurance. As someone that's lost 2 family members to it, trying to let bad doctors off the hook for some political points is disgusting.

@JamesDFickes I think they're truly ignorant. This is what happens when civics is no longer taught. They blame the federal government for everything because they don't understand state and local governments actually have more power. It's why participation in those governments and voting in it has plummeted. They're so wrapped up in big federal government they can't pay attention to anything else.
