Unfortunately no because it's the parks that sustain the Disney corporation.

@slipkid1267 They aren't. Their earnings are in the crapper. They've removed perks for staying on property from the parks and fired all live performers because they are hurting financially. They relied on the income from the parks to keep everything else afloat.

@zacm9747 She was not irrelevant before the show. She's been on the cover of magazines and was an MMA fighter. She was also the second most popular character on the show. Her being fired, especially when other people that still work for Disney said far worse things, has other actors questioning if they want to work with Disney anymore. Robert Downey Jr has already pulled out of talks about a project with them over it. How long before they fire Chris Pratt since the mob has been harassing him too? I hope she sues for discrimination because they've allowed men to make similar statements and not fired them.

@weneedcriticalthinking I haven't had it since Mulan. I don't support companies that thank overseers of concentration camps. There are other ways to watch things without paying a bad company for it. Same reason I don't buy Apple products since they had to put up nets to keep their factory workers from jumping to their death over the horrible working conditions and I do everything possible not to buy a product made in China.

The stockholders only care about the parks because that's where the money comes from. They're starting to finally call out the entertainment, but only because it's been flop after flop and has lost billions and because the parks have lost a lot of revenue too.

@bosmith1820 Disney is already in debt up to it's eyeballs because it bought too many other companies and kept expanding the parks at the same time. They killed their easiest constant stream of revenue from Star Wars merchandise. They couldn't move the toy line from the last 3 movies. Baby Yoda and Gina's character merchandise was back ordered due to demand and now they are all canceled. Add in their last couple of movies tanking (see Mulan), the parks closed, and that they've been hiding their real financials from investors for the last couple of years and it's not looking good. They are so bad off they've cut all the perks from the parks that encouraged people to stay at a more expensive on property resort. They invested millions in the Star Wars area focusing on a hotel that gives you a Star Wars adventure stay. They patterned the experience after the sequels and it's bombed. Hardly anyone has done it and anything like that Star Wars themed usually sells out. Yes, people canceling Disney plus is going to hurt them bad since they're already reeling from several other failures.

They're trying to get away from that image for some reason. It's pretty clear. They're even removing Walt's name from the parks. It's no longer Walt Disney World or Walt Disney Land. It's just Disney.
